I’m Sippie Niles.

I’m an artist who has been afraid to share my work for far too long. For years, fear kept me quiet, but I’ve finally found the courage just to be. The art I make is different. I try not to compare myself to others, though I’m deeply inspired by artists like Charles White and Elizabeth Catlett.

I don’t claim to be the best at anything. In fact, I’ve only recently reached a place where I can say I think I’m good. And even if I’m not, what a joy it is to sit with God and create. That alone feels like enough.

I create for the fun of it. I’ve always loved to play. I love bringing color to sadness, blue has always been my favorite color, and I’ve always loved the Blues.

So I’m choosing to do what I love and share when I can.

Allowing light between the blinds when it feels right.

Take what sticks and leave the rest.
